Job summary

Holdsworth Foods is recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join the Despatch team at our Chesterfield depot. You will play a key role in picking orders and ensuring accurate, on-time deliveries for customers.

Working 5.30pm–1.30am, Monday to Friday, with potential extra hours. You must be prepared to train to drive a forklift and work in a coldstore. Benefits include a pension, death in service and cycle-to-work scheme.

Responsibilities

• To pick orders from picking sheets, with attention to product and quantities.
• To be familiar with and able to identify the products stocked.
• To have a good working knowledge of the warehouse setup and storage areas.
• To face labels outwards for double checking purposes.
• To load/unload cages safely and use pallet trucks/fork trucks if certified.
• To report any equipment faults to management.
• To ensure cages/products match picking sheets for traceability.
