Job summary

Connect Appointments is recruiting Despatch Pickers for an established food manufacturing site in Shotts, North Lanarkshire. The role is temporary with the potential for permanent employment and offers weekly pay at the stated hourly rate.

You'll work a two-week rotation: Week 1 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (6am to 6pm); Week 2 Monday, Tuesday (6am to 6pm), Saturday and Sunday (6am to 4pm), with own transport essential due to location.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, despatch or order picking environment is advantageous
• A reliable, detail-focused approach to work with good health and safety awareness
• Access to own transport - essential due to the rural location of the site

Responsibilities

• Order picking from storage areas ensuring correct stock is selected from the correct location
• Safe handling and storage of all products in line with company procedures
• Loading vehicles safely, legally and in a neat and presentable manner
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping across all warehouse areas
• Adhering to all health and safety requirements and company policies

• Paid weekly at £13.65 per hour - with all breaks paid
• Working on a two week rotation:
• Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (6am to 6pm)
• Week 2: Monday, Tuesday (6am to 6pm), Saturday and Sunday (6am to 4pm)

Please note: Own transport is essential due to the location of the site.
