Job summary

Cranswick Country Foods Fresh Poultry in Eye, Suffolk is seeking a Despatch Team Leader to supervise the despatch team and ensure accurate picking, packing and palletising of orders. You will oversee loading and unloading of lorries, stock rotation and adherence to quality standards.

Experience is preferred but not essential; the role offers a competitive hourly rate with a weekly attendance bonus and company pension enrollment.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a warehouse/despatch team.
• Strong organisational and numeracy skills.
• IT literacy to operate a handheld scanner and warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead the Despatch team.
• Supervise picking and packing of orders.
• Scan pallets in and out and manage stock rotation.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of orders and loading/unloading lorries if required.
• Promote a safe and efficient working environment.

We are looking for a Despatch Team Leader to join our established Despatch team at Cranswick Country Foods Fresh Poultry in Eye, Suffolk. You will be responsible for overseeing and supporting with picking, packing and palletising orders, whilst ensuring quality and accuracy.,

• Oversee and lead a successful Despatch team.
• Picking and Packing Products
• Scanning pallets in and out
• Stock Rotation
• Ensuring each item conforms with product and quality standards.
• Loading and unloading of lorries as required.
• Performing other warehouse duties as required.
  Good Organisation and Numeracy Skills
• IT competent to be able to use an electric scanner.
• To be hardworking and a team player.
• Previous experience is preferred, however not essential

  Rate of Pay - £17.18 per hour (inclusive of £1 per hour weekly attendance bonus)
