Job summary

Finnebrogue, a leading UK-based food producer in Downpatrick, is seeking a Despatch Supervisor for night shift (9pm-6am, 5 days per week with weekend rota). You will lead the Despatch team to ensure accurate picking, packing and despatch of chilled goods, while maintaining strict stock control and safety standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Production, Transport and Quality, coaching staff, planning rotas, and driving continuous improvement to meet KPIs and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory role in a fast-paced despatch/warehouse environment.
• Strong stock control and inventory accuracy.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices within a warehouse setting.
• Good IT skills; familiarity with warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations within the Despatch department, ensuring orders are picked, packed and despatched accurately and on time.
• Oversee loading of outbound vehicles and compliance with load plans.
• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy and stock movements.
• Ensure despatch documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with Production, Intake, Transport and Quality to ensure smooth workflow.
