Job summary

Propelis, the go-to-market ecosystem behind SGX, Marks, Equator, Collide and 5Flow, is seeking a Despatch Operative in Bury. You will be responsible for packing, despatching, and handling stock with care, while maintaining a clean workspace and complying with safety standards.

Heavy lifting and team collaboration are a core part of the role. You will contribute to efficient delivery services, sometimes driving company vehicles across local routes, subject to a valid UK driving licence; training

Qualifications

• The role involves heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Ability to work as part of a small team while remaining self-motivated to work independently.
• FLT license is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Pack final delivery goods with correct materials and labels.
• Despatch jobs using cost-effective, reliable methods.
• Demonstrate commitment, enthusiasm and flexibility.
• Work quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Manage cardboard and wood recycling in the yard.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
• Receive stock deliveries and store appropriately.
• Use company vehicles for local deliveries or collections (Licence required).
