Job summary

LGC Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a reliable Despatch Operative to join the busy dispatch team in Bromborough. You will pick, label and ship customer orders, print labels, book shipments and maintain accurate records to ensure on-time delivery.

Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, you will handle stock updates, follow health and safety procedures and support the wider operations team as needed. GCSEs and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• GCSE-level education (or equivalent).
• Good numerical and literacy skills.
• Basic computer skills and confidence using IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick products from warehouse locations to fulfil customer orders.
• Print shipping labels, courier documentation, and associated paperwork.
• Label, package, and prepare products for dispatch in line with company procedures.
• Book shipments with a variety of courier providers and ensure all dispatch information is correctly recorded.
• Complete basic administrative duties, including updating records and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Receive incoming stock deliveries and accurately book stock onto company systems.
• Ensure all orders are processed and dispatched within agreed timelines.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail when handling products and documentation.
• Follow company Health & Safety procedures and maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
• Support the wider operations team with general warehouse and logistics activities as required.
• Undertake IATA and ADG Dangerous Goods packing activities following completion of accredited training provided by an external training provider.
