Job summary

Renford Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Despatch Yard Person for a busy manufacturing office team. The role is mainly office-based but includes occasional time in the warehouse/despatch area. Immediate start with potential for permanence for the right candidate.

Key duties include despatch processing, data entry into customer portals, and ASN creation. A valid FLT counterbalance licence is advantageous; good communication and attention to detail are essential.

• Labeling items for despatch.
• Organising space in yard and maintaining safety.

We are looking for a Despatch Yard Person to join a busy office team within a manufacturing environment. This role is mainly officebased but does involve stepping into the warehouse/despatch area when needed. This could become a permanent position for the right candidate.

Duties:

• Working in Despatch sending and receiving items
• Inputting data into customer portals
• Raising and creating Advance Shipping Notes (ASNs)
• Shrink wrapping goods in Pallets
• Unloading Trailers
• Labelling items ready for despatch
• Organising and utilising space in yard
• Always adhering to health and safety

Skills & Experience:

• Basic IT skills
• Valid FLT counterbalance Licence advantageous
• Experience in despatch or a similar environment (preferred)
• Good communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work accurately and effectively

Hours of Work:

• Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 17:15
• Friday: 08:00 - 13:00

Rate of Pay:

• £13.00 per hour
