Job summary

Winner Recruitment is seeking a reliable Despatch Operative for a prestigious Aston-based site. This is a temporary role with potential to become permanent, working a day shift schedule.

Your duties include picking and packing, stock counting, ERP/CRM/WMS data entry in Excel, and ensuring accurate despatch of goods to the correct departments. You should have at least two years of relevant experience, strong numerical ability, and good written communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in a similar environment.
• Good attention to detail with numerical tasks.
• Proficient on Excel and ERP/CRM/WMS systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders in the despatch department.
• Book Goods in and Out on the in-house system.
• Count stock and manage inventory records.
• Pack parts for stock for outgoing orders.
• Quality check and inspect parts.
• Ensure correct despatch to the right departments.
• Print paperwork and labels.
• File stock away in designated areas.
• Update orders on Excel spreadsheets.
• Move stock as required; some heavy lifting.
• Take stock for audits; maintain accuracy.
• Keep inventory accurate at all times.

DESPATCH OPERATIVE - DAY SHIFT

We are currently recruiting for a Despatch Operative for a prestigious company based in Aston. This is a Temp - Possibly Permanent role working on set day shift

Working Hours: are Monday to Thursday: 09:00 AM to 6.00 PM

Friday 08.15AM to 5.00 PM

Pay £12.71ph

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and packing Orders in the despatch department
• Booking Goods in and Out on the in house system
• Stock counting and inventory management
• Packing parts for stock for outgoing orders
• Quality checking and inspecting parts
• Making sure all delivery of goods are despatched to the correct departments
• Printing off paperwork and labels
• Putting stock away in designated areas
• Updating information and orders on Excel spreadsheets
• Moving stock as and when required
• Some heavy lifting involved, within this manual role
• Stock taking of products ready for Audits - Accuracy is essential
• Making sure inventory is correct at all times

Experience Required

• Minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar environment
• Be proficient on Excel and ERP / CRM /WMS Systems
• You will need to have good attention to detail for this role
• Must have a keen eye for intricate details
• You will need to have good communication and written skills
• Be very numerical and methodical due to order numbers and specifications
