Job summary

Aligra Cardiff is seeking a Despatch Operative for afternoon shifts in Cardiff. You will be part of a busy warehousing team, responsible for accurate picking, loading and ensuring timely deliveries.

Key duties include using WMS, maintaining a clean, safe workspace, and collaborating with colleagues to meet daily targets. Previous warehousing experience and a can-do attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehousing or distribution roles.
• Strong numeracy, literacy, and communication skills.
• Comfortable using PCs and WMS or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a Zero Harm workplace by proactively identifying and reporting hazards.
• Accurately pick, load, unload, and manage orders to meet daily targets.
• Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to keep standards high.
• Support audits by keeping your work area clean and organised.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and on-time deliveries.
