Job summary

Dunbia Group in Carnaby is hiring an Operative for the Despatch department. You will load, move and check product loads to specification, adhering to food safety, quality guidelines and site rules.

The role requires standing for long periods, good communication, and the ability to follow instructions. Forklift experience is advantageous; permanent, full-time position with 37.5 hours per week and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend and lift safely.
• Ability to work independently or follow instructions.
• Understanding of workplace safety policies and procedures.
• Previous Forklift Truck (FLT) experience or licence is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality standards and hygiene rules.
• Conduct equipment start-up checks and report issues or defects.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.

The role will have responsibility for working as part of the Despatch Department, to load and move stock and products to specification, in line with food safety regulations and to the high quality expected by Dunbia customers.

• Must provide valid proof of right to work in the UK.
