Job summary

Lyreco Group in Telford is hiring a NDC Despatch Loader to fetch and load pallets onto trailers destined for RDCs. The role is permanent with a rotating shift pattern and a salary of £26,337.50 plus shift allowance under a fulltime contract.

You will operate PPT/FLT safely, maintain standards, ensure accurate pallet checks, optimise space, and contribute to on-time despatch while following safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and capable of working at pace.
• Ability to carry out checks to ensure goods on pallets match pallet label.
• Ability to carry out checks to ensure pallets are loaded on correct trailer.
• Ability to optimise trailer space.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of standards and procedures.
• Care and control of equipment.
• Achievement of daily targets.
• To comply with all Company health and safety guidelines and procedures.
• Responsibility for ‘housekeeping’ within the area of responsibility.
• To ensure customer satisfaction is maintained.
• To observe Company Policies, Procedures and Standards.
• Must be willing to undertake training in any NDC activity.
• Must be willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime when requested.
