Job summary

Lyreco is seeking an NDC Despatch Loader to join the Telford Head Office logistics team. The role involves fetching and loading pallets onto trailers destined for RDCs, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and accurate loading.

You'll work Monday–Friday with rotating shifts, in a permanent, full-time capacity, and benefit from a salary plus shift allowance, plus a range of staff benefits and development opportunities at Lyreco.

Role Summary

To fetch and load pallets onto trailers destined for RDC’s

Key responsibilities & accountabilities as an NDC Depatch Loader will include

• Maintenance of standards and procedures.
• Care and control of equipment.
• Achievement of daily targets.
• To comply with all Company health and safety guidelines and procedures.
• Responsibility for ‘housekeeping’ within the area of responsibility.
• To ensure customer satisfaction is maintained.
• To observe Company Policies, Procedures and Standards
• Must be willing to undertake training in any NDC activity.
• Must be willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime when requested.

About You

Personality/communication

• Demonstrate the Lyreco values at all times.

• Understanding of all SAP screens relevant to the function.
• Ability to communicate well.

Role specific

• Must be physically fit and capable of working at pace
• Ability to carry out checks to ensure goods on pallets match pallet label
• Ability to carry out checks to ensure pallets are loaded on correct trailer
• Ability to optimise trailer space
• Ability to operate PPT / FLT safely
• Ability to clear waste and maintain a clean work area
• Ability to identify waste and inefficient processes
