Job summary

Lyreco is hiring a NDC Despatch Loader at their Telford Head Office. The role involves loading pallets onto trailers for RDCs, maintaining standards, caring for equipment, and meeting daily targets. You must be physically fit, able to work at pace, and willing to train in NDC activities.

The position offers permanent, full-time work with rotating shifts, a strong safety focus, and opportunities to develop within the Logistics team at Lyreco.

Qualifications

Role Summary: To fetch and load pallets onto trailers destined for RDC’s

• Maintenance of standards and procedures.
• Care and control of equipment.
• Achievement of daily targets.
• To comply with all Company health and safety guidelines and procedures.
• Responsibility for ‘housekeeping’ within the area of responsibility.
• To ensure customer satisfaction is maintained.
• To observe Company Policies, Procedures and Standards
• Must be willing to undertake training in any NDC activity.
• Must be willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime when requested.

About You

Personality/communication

• Demonstrate the Lyreco values at all times.

Role specific

• Must be physically fit and capable of working at pace
• Ability to carry out checks to ensure goods on pallets match pallet label
• Ability to carry out checks to ensure pallets are loaded on correct trailer
• Ability to optimise trailer space
• Ability to operate PPT / FLT safely
• Ability to clear waste and maintain a clean work area
• Ability to identify waste and inefficient processes
