Thrive-Group is seeking a reliable Despatch Operative to join our client site in Burscough. The role involves accurate pallet labeling, packing checks, and forklift operations within a busy despatch/warehouse environment.

You will handle paperwork, assist with loading, and may work overtime or Saturdays during peak periods. The position requires good English, a forklift counterbalance licence, and dependable, flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Good English language skills are essential.
• Previous despatch/warehouse experience would be an advantage.
• Forklift counterbalance experience/licence is required.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable and flexible approach to working hours.

Responsibilities

• Applying the correct labels to pallets and trolleys.
• Ensuring orders are packed correctly and accurately.
• Operating a forklift to load and unload goods.
• Preparing and handing the correct paperwork to drivers.
• Assisting with loading trolleys into trucks.
• Working additional hours when required, especially if trucks are delayed.
• During the off-season, performing general warehouse duties.
• During busy periods, Saturdays may be required and can be a full working day.
