Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Support / Desktop Support / Help Desk Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Technical Support: Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
  2. Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. Ensure all systems are updated with the latest patches and updates.
  3. User Assistance: Assist users with software applications, operating systems, and network connectivity issues.
Qualifications:
  1. Experience: 3-5 years in IT support, desktop support, or help desk roles.
  2. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and Mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and common IT tools. Basic network troubleshooting and printer support familiarity.
  3. Education: Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; Bachelor’s degree or certifications like CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified IT Professional are advantageous.
  4. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
  5. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
