You'll manage a portfolio of 80 mid-market customers from a desk-based environment, with a revenue target of several million pounds. Responsibilities include in-life customer support, cross-sell and upsell activity, and maintaining high customer satisfaction—either independently or as part of an account team.
We’re looking for a driven Sales Account Manager to join our desk-based sales team, responsible for delivering revenue growth across a portfolio of private or public sector customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own and deliver against individual revenue targets, working independently or as part of a virtual sales team.
• Conduct regular outbound sales calls to drive prospecting and promote BT’s core products and services.
• Collaborate with field sales and specialist teams to develop and close new business opportunities.
• Forecast sales performance and KPIs accurately to management.
• Proactively manage customer churn and protect core revenue streams.
• Identify and pursue opportunities with new customers to grow the client base.
• Leverage a multi-channel sales approach to drive business growth.
• Close deals directly and coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Field Sales, Contract Management) when needed.
• Serve as the primary desk-based contact, building long-term customer relationships.
• 50% on target bonus

Hybrid Working: This role offers a hybrid working model, with three days in the office. Core office days are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
