• AAT / ACA / ACCA part or fully qualified preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in an accountancy practice.

Salary – £34,000 to £40,000 depending on experience

Hours - Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with hybrid working

Holiday –22 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays)

We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Senior / Executive to join our office in Leicester Fosse Park.

This is a great opportunity to develop your accounting expertise working on an extensive and varied client portfolio. We are looking for driven, results orientated individuals who want to develop their careers and provide a first-class service to our clients. Key responsibilities of an Account Senior / Executive will include:

• processing accounts for a variety of clients, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• preparing VAT returns for clients
• preparation of Tax computations and tax returns
• preparation of management information
• supporting the team with work and projects as required
• aid less experienced team members by motivating and developing them by providing training and support
  
  

About You –

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• AAT / ACA / ACCA part or fully qualified preferred but can be QBE
• minimum of 2 year’s experience in an accountancy practice
• good accounting, VAT & tax knowledge
• experience of using Xero preferred
• results orientated
• excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
• show initiative, exercise judgement and take ownership of tasks from start to finish
• experience of working on a wide range of clients
• computer literate including good Excel experience.
