Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is partnering with a high-performing primary school in Enfield to recruit an experienced Designated Safeguarding Lead to join its senior pastoral team.

You will act as the school's lead safeguarding professional, manage safeguarding concerns and referrals, maintain child protection records, liaise with parents and external agencies, and coordinate safeguarding training for staff. Previous DSL or DDSL experience in a primary school and current DSL training are required.

Qualifications

• Previous safeguarding experience essential in a school setting.
• Experience as DSL or DDSL within a primary school is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of KCSIE, child protection, early help and safer recruitment.
• Current DSL training is expected.
