Job summary

The Education Network is seeking a Pastoral Lead for an SEN school. You will join the SLT to lead on behaviour, welfare and safeguarding across the school, creating a welcoming environment for students and staff.

The role requires a qualified Pastoral Lead or Designated Safeguarding Lead, with the ability to lead across the school and manage complex data. You will contribute to improving future prospects for the children and young adults you support.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on behaviour, welfare and attendance in collaboration with staff, parents and agencies.
  • Create a welcoming learning environment where students and staff feel valued.
  • Develop a culture that builds confidence and engagement.
  • Drive safeguarding and policy implementation across the school.
  • Lead on positive processes for behaviour and wellbeing.
  • Support and manage the school support team to achieve positive outcomes.

Job description

Pastoral Lead

This is more than a job it is a commitment to make a difference in an SEN School that puts the children and young adults they support first. As a Pastoral Lead, you will be an integral part of the SLT where you will lead on:
  • Behaviour, welfare and attendance working with staff, parents and third party agencies.
  • The creation of a welcoming learning environment where students and staff feel part of something special.
  • Help develop a culture that builds confidence and engagement.
  • Creating, underpinning, and driving safeguarding and policy across school,
  • Leading on positive processes to include managing behaviour, and well-being.
  • Supporting and managing the support team to achieve positive outcomes.
You will be:
  • A qualified, Pastoral Lead or Designate Safeguarding Lead.
  • Able to work as the Pastoral Lead across school.
  • Totally committed to the future prospects of the children and young adults you support.
  • Used to managing and implementing policy to include managing complex data.
  • You will bring a smile to this role and be part of something amazing.
