Job summary

TeacherActive Limited. is recruiting a DT Technician to support practical Design and Technology lessons in a Birmingham school. You will assist across textiles, graphics and resistant materials, helping teachers prepare resources and set up workshops for students.

This role is part-time, three days per week (Tuesday to Thursday), with a focus on maintaining a safe, organised workshop environment and strong communication with staff and pupils. A positive, proactive approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working within Design and Technology or a practical workshop environment.
• Experience supporting textiles, graphics and/or resistant materials.
• Confidence supporting teachers and students during practical lessons.
• An understanding of maintaining a safe and organised workshop environment.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• A positive and proactive approach to supporting students and staff.
