Job summary

Philosophy Education is recruiting a qualified Design and Technology teacher for a large Redbridge secondary school in London. The role covers resistant materials and product design for KS3/KS4 with an immediate start. You’ll contribute to assessments and coursework while joining an established Art & Design team.

The position is full-time in a school setting with a supportive staff and varied student ability. Teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 is required.

Qualifications

• This role requires qualified Design & Technology teacher status.
• Experience delivering KS3/KS4 D&T with resistant materials.
• Ability to teach woodwork and design concepts across year groups.

Responsibilities

• Teach resistant materials and product design to mixed ability classes.
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress and coursework.
• Collaborate with the Art & Design department.
