Job summary

Philosophy Education, Ltd. is recruiting a qualified Design and Technology teacher for a large Redbridge secondary school. You will teach resistant materials and product design to mixed-ability classes across KS3 and KS4, with an immediate start.

You will assess coursework, manage assessments, and contribute to the department alongside the Art and Design team. UK QTS is required, and the school aims to appoint as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Must hold UK QTS and have experience teaching Design Technology (RM and Product Design).
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 preferred.
• Ability to teach across Resistant Materials and Product Design.

Responsibilities

• Teach RM and Product Design to mixed-ability classes (KS3–KS4).
• Prepare and assess coursework toward GCSE/BTEC specifications.
• Collaborate with the Art and Design department to develop curriculum.
