Job summary

MyNewTerm is partnering with Prince Albert High to appoint a committed Design Technology Teacher. The role is permanent and embedded in a growing department within a Trust.

You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality Design Technology curriculum and contributing to the school’s development as it continues to grow and improve. The successful candidate will possess strong subject knowledge, energy, and a passion for inspiring students to achieve their potential.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering Design Technology lessons in a secondary setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for DT.
  • Commitment to high standards of teaching and pupil outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Design Technology lessons aligned to the curriculum.
  • Plan and prepare lessons with SLT guidance and schemes of work.
  • Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback.
  • Contribute to department development and enrichment activities.

Design Technology Teacher

This is an opportunity for a committed and passionate Design Technology Teacher to develop their career in a growing school and to leave a lasting legacy for the community we serve. Whilst being fully supported by the infrastructure of a highly successful Trust.

We are looking to appoint a Design Technology Teacher who is energetic, committed, and excited about producing an outstanding generation of young people who will not only transform their own life chances but make the world a better place. Having strong subject knowledge, the successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Department or Subject Lead in delivering an exceptional curriculum whilst quality assuring all lessons are fit for purpose.

Prince Albert High opened in 2021 with a year 7 cohort and you will be joining us as our school continues to grow. Prince Albert High is unique because it is one of the very few secondary schools where the incoming year 7 students and their families are well-known by our school. This is because the vast majority of our students come from our multi-academy trust’s primaries.   • Ensure that all students achieve the least at chronological age or level or, if well below level, make significant and continuing progress towards achieving at chronological age level.
