Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience using AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Experience in high-end fit detailing is desirable.
• Experience from a site or manufacturing background beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Take projects from concept to completion.
• Produce 2D detailed drawings using relevant software.
• Attend site surveys to assist the installation team.

Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Proficiency in SolidWorks

Understanding of project assembly

Education

HND qualified or above in construction-related subject

Relevant industry qualifications/training

Our client is a leading specialist contractor and industry leader within the local market, specializing in high-end joinery & fit-out projects across sectors including high-end residential, commercial, leisure, and marine.

Due to continued expansion and an impressive pipeline of upcoming projects, they are seeking an experienced SolidWorks Technician to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced designer to join a highly reputable employer and progress their career on exciting high-end bespoke joinery projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Take projects from concept to completion.
2. Produce 2D detailed drawings using relevant software.
3. Create job sheets for production.
4. Quantify and requisition materials.
5. Attend site surveys & site visits to assist the installation team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• HND qualified or above within a construction-related subject and/or a minimum of 2 years' experience using AutoCAD or SolidWorks in design and detailing.
• Experience in high-end fit detailing and design for manufacturing (desirable).
• Proficiency in understanding project assembly, beneficial from a site or manufacturing background.
• Completed relevant industry qualifications/training.
