Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment is seeking a Technical/Design Manager for a specialist PVC window and door contractor in South Wales. You will oversee all technical aspects, provide CAD support, ensure specs meet standards, and deliver projects accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities include liaising with contractors/architects, producing complete drawing packages, ensuring products meet requirements, preparing sample drawings, and maintaining certs and audits.

Qualifications

• Experience using 2D CAD with a strong understanding of producing accurate drawing sets.
• Previous experience in a technical or draughting role.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver complex projects to agreed deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively across departments.

• Collaborate with senior staff to develop, review and implement long-term company objectives.

An exciting opportunity for a Technical/Design Manager to join a successful specialist PVC window and door contractor.

The client work with national housing developers on a mix on new build developments and social housing projects across South Wales

The client is seeking an experienced Technical Manager with strong CAD knowledge to oversee all technical aspects of the business. This role will provide technical support across multiple departments ensuring that specifications are met, technical solutions are practical and projects are delivered accurately and efficiently.
