Job summary

Our client, a leading manufacturer and installer of aluminium and uPVC windows, seeks a Technical Project Manager to support fenestration packages on new build, high rise student accommodation and build to rent developments. You will produce technical drawings, coordinate material orders and liaise with clients, production and site teams.

The role combines drawing production with site supervision and project coordination, requiring strong organisation, communication and the ability to translate

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating or managing commercial window and door projects, ideally within high rise or multiroom developments.
• Ability to produce technical fenestration drawings and interface details, with understanding of window and door systems.
• Interpret structural engineering reports and their implications for fenestration.
• Experience of material ordering, production coordination, installation planning and site liaison.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and communication skills to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Produce technical fenestration drawings and interface details to meet project requirements.
• Read and understand structural engineering reports, identifying requirements relevant to the fenestration design and installation.
• Prepare accurate material lists and orders in line with drawings and project specifications.
• Liaise with production teams and coordinate installation planning to support project programmes.
• Supervise site activities and monitor installation work against agreed drawings and requirements.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, contractors and project teams.
• Coordinate technical information and raise design or engineering queries with the relevant specialists.
• Maintain clear communication between the office, production and installation teams as projects progress.

Location: Wellingborough, with travel to project sites

Working arrangement: Approximately 50% office and 50% site attendance

The role

Our client is seeking a Technical Project Manager to support fenestration packages on new build, high rise student accommodation and build to rent developments. The role combines technical drawing production and detailing with project coordination, site supervision and client liaison, linking design requirements with material ordering, production and installation planning.
