Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Design System Product Owner to shapeBlueprint design system across the bank, owning vision, strategy and prioritisation. You will balance demand across tribes and ensure work delivers value, guided by data and customer needs.

Working with design, engineering and platform specialists, you’ll champion a product mindset, drive adoption at scale and align with teams and customers served. You will lead governance, contribute to frameworks and translate demand into actionable

Qualifications

Proven experience defining product strategy, roadmaps and priorities for complex digital products.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across a diverse organisation.
Experience using data, customer insight and business outcomes to inform product decisions.
Deep understanding of enterprise design systems, accessibility standards and design-to-code workflows.
Ability to translate demand into clear, actionable backlog items that deliver measurable value.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product owners and technical teams to enact the product roadmap and vision.
Define and communicate the product strategy and vision defined in the roadmap to stakeholders.
Monitor product performance and identify opportunities for optimisation that meet standards.
