Job summary

IO Associates are partnering with a global aerospace and manufacturing leader to recruit a Design Quality Engineer for the Airframe Wing at Broughton. You will work on-site with international teams to resolve quality issues and drive product maturity from design through to delivery.

The role focuses on leading quality improvement projects, applying FMEA and root-cause analysis, and supporting risk mitigation across engineering deliverables.

Qualifications

• Engineering experience in Aviation or Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of FMEA and root-cause techniques (e.g., 9D, 8D).
• BPSS+ security clearance eligibility.

Are you a proactive Quality Engineer or an experienced engineer looking for your next career move in aviation? I'm partnering with a global aerospace and manufacturing leader to strengthen their Quality Engineering - Airframe Wing team. You'll work with international engineering teams and suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve product maturity from early design through delivery.

The role

• Location: Broughton (on-site)
• Rate: £34/hour (Umbrella)
• Contract: 12 months

What we're looking for

• Engineering experience in Aviation or Manufacturing; strong recent graduates with relevant experience will be considered.
• Knowledge of FMEA and root-cause techniques (for example, 9S, 8D).
• Ability to obtain BPSS+ security clearance.
