Job summary

iO Associates is recruiting for a Design Quality Engineer to join a global aerospace and manufacturing leader in Broughton on-site. The role focuses on improving engineering quality from design through delivery, collaborating with international teams and suppliers.

Ideal candidates have engineering experience in aviation or manufacturing, knowledge of FMEA and root-cause methods, and the ability to obtain BPSS+ security clearance. 12-month contract, based on-site in Broughton.

Hiring: Design Quality Engineer — Global Aerospace & Manufacturing Leader — Broughton

Are you a proactive Quality Engineer or an experienced engineer looking for your next career move in aviation? I’m partnering with a global aerospace and manufacturing leader to strengthen their Quality Engineering — Airframe Wing team. You’ll work with international engineering teams and suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve product maturity from early design through delivery.

The role

Location: Broughton (on-site)

Contract: 12 months

Key responsibilities

Lead and deliver improvement projects to meet engineering quality targets.

Facilitate root-cause analysis and practical problem solving.

Identify risks in engineering deliverables and implement standardized mitigation plans.

What we’re looking for

Engineering experience in Aviation or Manufacturing; strong recent graduates with relevant experience will be considered.

Knowledge of FMEA and root-cause techniques (for example, 9S, 8D).

Ability to obtain BPSS+ security clearance.
