Job summary

Jobtailor in the United Kingdom is seeking a Support Senior Design Manager to assist in delivering design and engineering contracts, handle contract administration, and ensure alignment with programme objectives.

You will plan and coordinate production of outputs, manage progress and risk throughout the gateway lifecycle, support optioneering, and help produce documentation for DCO and related activities while upholding quality, safety, inclusive design and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multidisciplinary design and engineering suppliers.
• Delivery track record in complex projects or programmes.
• Adaptability to continuous improvement and change management.
• Degree in an appropriate discipline; NEC accreditation desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Design Managers in delivering responsibilities and managing design and engineering contracts.
• Plan, coordinate and oversee the production of design and engineering outputs to align with programme objectives.
• Manage progress and performance, providing required reporting and addressing risks and opportunities.
• Support optioneering, stakeholder reviews, approvals, and cross-disciplinary alignment.
