Job summary

Royal Bank of Scotland is seeking a Design Operations Lead to oversee the delivery of design operations across the business area, balancing team needs with strategic goals and enabling successful project outcomes. You will partner with design leadership to integrate AI-enabled workflows and drive governance, standardisation and continuous improvement across the function.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to align priorities, manage risks, and communicate the value and impact of design

Qualifications

Experience defining and leading design operations processes, projects and programmes at pace using agile delivery methods.
Track record of driving scalable, collaborative operational improvements aligned with business needs.
Experience working with multidisciplinary design teams and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

Manage design operations activity across the business area to enable project and programme delivery.
Act as escalation point, remove blockers and approve design operations deliverables.
Integrate AI-enabled workflows into design operations and build scalable guidance.
Promote guidelines and standards to drive consistency and scalability across the function.
Partner with Design Leadership to drive governance, culture change, and value realisation from emerging tech.
