Job summary

EH Group Engineering is seeking Mechanical Engineers to design components and assemblies for our compact, high power density fuel cell products.

You will produce 3D models, drawings and tolerances, apply DFM/DFA principles and collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams. Start date: Immediate. Excellent English required; French a plus.

Qualifications

  • BSc or MSc in mechanical engineering required.
  • 3–5 years of mechanical design in a complex hardware environment, with experience in fuel cell stacks or related systems.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks) and GD&T.
  • Knowledge of DFM/DFA and common manufacturing processes.
  • Fluent English; French is a plus.

  • Apply design-for-manufacture and design-for-assembly principles.
  • Support prototyping, build and validation of designs.
  • Work with suppliers on component manufacture and tooling.
  • Maintain BOMs, drawings and engineering changes in PLM.
  • Collaborate with simulation, test, electrical and process engineering.

To help achieve our vision of a decarbonised future we are seeking Mechanical Engineers to design components and assemblies for our compact, high power density fuel cell products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design mechanical components, modules and assemblies for fuel cell stacks and systems
  • Produce 3D models, detailed drawings and tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Apply design-for-manufacture and design-for-assembly principles
  • Support prototyping, build and validation of designs
  • Work with suppliers on component manufacture and tooling
  • Maintain BOMs, drawings and engineering changes in PLM
  • Collaborate with simulation, test, electrical and process engineering
Skills and Experience Required
  • BSc/MSc in mechanical engineering is mandatory
  • Minimum 3–5 years of mechanical design experience in a complex hardware engineering environment, with direct experience in fuel cell stacks, electrolyzers, high-voltage battery modules, powertrains, or complex thermal systems.
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD (ex. SolidWorks) and in-depth understanding of GD&T
  • Understanding of DFM/DFA and common manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of sealing, thermofluidic, thermal or structural design is a plus
  • Team player able to work autonomously with internal and external experts
  • Excellent spoken and written English is mandatory, French is a plus
