  • Design and develop systems using CAD, 2D schematics, and 3D modelling.
  • Support and lead elements of projects, including acting as Technical Lead on smaller work packages.
  • Perform front‑end engineering design, calculations, and system specification.
  • Design pressurised systems and balance‑of‑plant solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, process engineers).
  • Support innovation by developing new technical capabilities and research initiatives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and safety documentation.
Essential Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience delivering hydrogen or alternative energy projects.
  • Strong capability in CAD modelling, simulation, and engineering drawings.
  • Experience designing pressurised pipework systems and complex engineering systems.
  • Understanding of system integration and safety studies (e.g., HAZOP, ATEX, DSEAR).
  • Knowledge of P&IDs, PFDs, and multidisciplinary engineering documentation.
  • Ability to manage projects across the full product life‑cycle (TRL/MRL awareness).
  • Problem‑solving mindset with a hands‑on, practical approach.
Desirable
  • Experience with Siemens NX or SolidWorks.
  • Knowledge of modular or containerised plant design.
  • Exposure to renewable technologies and alternative fuels.
  • Working towards professional registration.
