Job summary

Tradeline Recruitment is seeking a Design Manager to lead the design process from pre-construction through to project completion in a varied portfolio including commercial and education sectors. You will coordinate consultant design teams, ensure builds are compliant, and deliver to programme and budget under the direction of the Contracts Director.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent organisation and communication skills, with experience in NEC3/4, JCT contracts and BIM/Revit

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' design management experience with a main contractor.
• HNC/HND or degree in Architecture, Building Surveying, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Proven ability to lead design teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from pre-construction through to completion.
• Coordinate consultant design teams and ensure technical compliance.
• Deliver designs in line with programme, budget and client requirements.
• Manage multiple design consultants and stakeholders simultaneously.
