Job summary

Beeby Anderson Recruitment is seeking a motivated Design Manager to support delivery of complex, high-value projects across Europe for a leading international consultancy. You will work with a Senior Design Manager and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate design activities, manage stakeholders and ensure timely, quality design outcomes from early design stages.

Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management or related field.
• Experience in Design Management, Project Management or design coordination.
• Understanding of the design process, particularly during the early stages of construction projects.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and project stakeholders.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities within collaborative project teams.
• A proactive approach and ambition to develop into a senior design management position.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Senior Design Managers in the coordination and delivery of multidisciplinary design projects.
• Working collaboratively with engineering, architectural and specialist design teams.
• Coordinating design activities to ensure project objectives, programmes and deliverables are achieved.
• Liaising with clients, consultants and other key project stakeholders.
• Supporting the management of design programmes, project priorities and technical coordination.
• Identifying and resolving design-related challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contributing to the successful commercial and technical delivery of projects.
• Taking on increasing responsibility as your experience and capabilities develop.
