We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Design Manager to support the successful delivery of complex, high-value projects across Europe.

Working closely with a Senior Design Manager and multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will help coordinate the design process, manage project stakeholders and ensure the effective delivery of projects from the early design stages onwards.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Senior Design Managers in the coordination and delivery of multidisciplinary design projects.
• Working collaboratively with engineering, architectural and specialist design teams.
• Coordinating design activities to ensure project objectives, programmes and deliverables are achieved.
• Liaising with clients, consultants and other key project stakeholders.
• Supporting the management of design programmes, project priorities and technical coordination.
• Identifying and resolving design-related challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contributing to the successful commercial and technical delivery of projects.
• Taking on increasing responsibility as your experience and capabilities develop.

Candidate

We are interested in speaking with individuals who have experience in a design consultancy, project management consultancy or multidisciplinary engineering environment. The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management or a related discipline, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience in Design Management, Project Management or design coordination within the construction industry.
• An understanding of the design process, particularly during the early stages of construction projects.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and project stakeholders.
• Exposure to complex, fast-paced or technically challenging projects.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively within collaborative project teams.
• A proactive approach and an ambition to develop into a senior design management position.
