Job summary

Randstad CPE are recruiting a Design Manager for a national Tier 1 contractor from their regional office in Southampton. The role covers the full design lifecycle, from bid through to on-site delivery, across education, care, MOD and defence frameworks.

The successful candidate will either be an experienced Design Manager or an ambitious Design Co-ordinator stepping up, with the Building Safety Act knowledge being a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as Design Manager or capable Design Co-ordinators stepping up.
• Knowledge of the Building Safety Act is advantageous if chartered.
• Experience with full lifecycle delivery from bid to site.

Responsibilities

• Lead design on schemes from bid stages through detailed design and site delivery.
• Collaborate with leadership teams across education, care, MOD and defence frameworks.
• Ensure quality and risk management aligned with company strategy.
