Responsibilities

• Develop and implement design proposals that meet client expectations.
• Ensure drawings and revisions comply with project specs and latest manufacturer guidance.
• Maintain all necessary documentation to support designs.

The role of the Design Manager – Industrial Roofing & Cladding Systems will involve:

• Design Manager position dealing with various cladding systems such as:, wall cladding, rain screen cladding and SFS

• Ensuring all construction drawings and designs are produced on time to a high standard
• Managing the development and implementation of design proposals and ensure they meet the clients expectations
• Ensure all drawings and revisions comply with project specifications and manufacturers’ latest installation guidance
• Ensuring designs have relevant documentation to support them
• Act as the central point of contact for all design-related inquiries
• Managing a teams ranging from 6-30 designers
• Facilitating the designs for projects that could range in value up to £30m

The ideal applicant will be Design Manager – Industrial Roofing & Cladding Systems with:

• Must have Senior Designer / Design Management experience within rainscreen cladding and/or SFS market sector
• Experience managing design projects over £10m
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• High levels of attention to detail and organisation
• Familiar with working in a fast paced environment dealing with multiple projects at any one time
• Enthusiastic, team player, who works well individually also
