Job summary

SRT Marine Systems plc is seeking a Design Manager – Construction / Civils. The role involves collaborating with customers, project teams, stakeholders and subcontractors to deliver safe and suitable design works consistent with project objectives.

You will be based from the Bristol office with hybrid working and be prepared to travel up to 75% globally to support project delivery. Key duties include leading civil designs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting tender processes while

Qualifications

• IT literate with ability to use standard office software (Word, Excel).
• Excellent communication skills with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive Safety by Design approach for all projects.
• Lead and review civil project designs including reinforced concrete design and detailing.
• Maintain CDM compliance and other regulatory requirements.
• Undertake technical quality assurance reviews and provide design approvals.
• Support tender processes and interpret scope of works.
• Develop policies, processes and procedures to improve team performance.
• Act as CDAE or equivalent when required.
• Support engineering design delivery and upskill teams.
