You will manage the design process from tender through to construction, coordinating with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to deliver innovative, cost-effective designs for North West projects across education, healthcare, and custodial sectors.

Qualifications

• Degree in a construction-related discipline is essential.
• Experience managing design on complex projects from tender through delivery.
• CIOB membership desirable.
• Knowledge of Building Regulations and sustainable design standards (e.g. BREEAM/Passivhaus).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design process from tender through to construction.
• Coordinate innovative, buildable design solutions with consultants and subcontractors.
• Interface with clients and the design team to manage expectations throughout pre-construction.
• Drive value engineering and manage design-related risks.
• Oversee design team performance and tender deliverables.
