Job summary

RG Setsquare in Leatherhead is seeking a Design Manager to lead design coordination on a landmark construction project. You will manage design input, client liaison, and coordination of consultants for a £5–£20m scheme.

The role requires strong sequencing, programming, and stakeholder management in a process-driven environment, delivering the end product on time and to programme.

Our Client is a Blue Chip building contractor whom are looking for a Design Manager to help deliver a landmark project in Leatherhead and surrounds.

The ideal candidate will already be working in a similar construction role and have Mid Tier or Top Tier experience on projects £5 million to £20 million.

As Design Manager/ Coordinator you will have strong process driven experience, and take responsibility for:

• Managing the construction programming through the cycle of the build and be able to understand the construction sequence and techniques employed.
• Programme control and the co-ordination of trades and the ability to adapt this where required.
• Add cost and design input on the delivery process and end product
• Co-Coordinating all design and project consultants
• Managing and chairing meetings with client and stakeholders
