Job summary

Mivan is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead the design delivery of a temporary project in Scotland, guiding concept through to completion and ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will collaborate with the Head of Design and project delivery teams, drive BIM and modern design practices, and may travel to site as project needs dictate. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a prestigious interior fit-out project.

Qualifications

• Experience managing construction design teams across lifecycle.
• Proficient in 2D and 3D design and BIM.
• Strong track record delivering interior fit-out projects.
• Knowledge of design processes and industry best practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage design teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate design activities with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Manage design programmes, resources and budgets to milestones.
• Ensure designs are buildable, cost-effective and compliant with standards.
• Drive digital adoption, BIM and modern design practices.
