Job summary

Mivan Ltd is seeking an experienced Design Manager in Scotland to lead the design delivery of a temporary project. You will oversee design co-ordinators, technicians and other professionals, ensuring the design is buildable, within budget and aligned with project KPIs.

You will drive early collaboration with Manufacturing, monitor design costs, and manage the design programme from concept through to completion while reporting progress to the Head of Design and clients.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in building/construction or architectural subject.
• Extensive experience managing construction projects with design and a strong portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage teams of design professionals.
• Coordinate design across conception to completion on multiple projects.
• Develop and manage design budgets and monitor costs vs. budget.
• Ensure designs are buildable, within budget and meet quality and safety standards.
• Chair design meetings and liaise with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders.
