Job summary

Integral Recruitment Ltd in Sittingbourne, Kent is seeking a Design Manager to oversee bespoke retail fixtures and prototypes from concept through to manufacture and installation. You'll collaborate with designers, project managers and suppliers, produce technical drawings in SolidWorks, and lead design-for-manufacture decisions.

The role also offers a £45,000 salary plus a bonus and enhanced pension, life and private medical insurance.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail fixtures or bespoke manufacturing.
• Strong SolidWorks / CAD experience.
• Ability to manage suppliers, costs and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Take bespoke fixtures from concept to manufacture and installation.
• Collaborate with designers, production teams and suppliers.
• Produce and review technical drawings and SolidWorks designs.
• Lead design-for-manufacture decisions on materials and processes.
• Develop in-house CNC and 3D-printing capability.
• Manage prototypes, costs, suppliers and schedules.
• Support installation, site surveys and technical problem-solving.
• Work with major brands and retailers to deliver high-quality finished products.
