Bimplus in Malvern is seeking an experienced Design Manager to join its Estates (Small Works) team, delivering a diverse portfolio of commercial construction projects across refurbishment, fit-out and new-build works.

You will manage the design process from pre-construction to project completion, coordinate architects and consultants, review information for buildability and compliance, chair design coordination meetings, and help drive value engineering in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Design Manager experience in construction.
• Experience delivering refurbishment, fit-out, and new-build projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and design coordination.

An established and highly regarded main contractor is seeking an experienced Design Manager to join its Estates (Small Works) team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy division delivering a diverse portfolio of commercial construction projects.

Working across a varied programme of works, you'll be involved in everything from refurbishment and fit-out projects to new-build commercial developments. This role offers plenty of variety, with projects differing in size, complexity, and programme, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and managing multiple schemes.

The Role

As Design Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the design process from pre-construction through to project completion, ensuring design information is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and key stakeholders, you'll ensure designs are practical, compliant, and fully coordinated to support successful project delivery.
