Job summary

Tesco PLC in London (Farringdon) is seeking an exceptional Design Lead to steer the UX strategy for the Customer Experience Horizontal team, guiding design across app and web to connect Grocery Home Delivery, Whoosh, F&F Clothing and Marketplace.

You’ll define shared principles, interaction patterns and information architecture, work with Product, Engineering, Research and our Design System team, and champion accessibility and scalable design.

Qualifications

• Lead UX design strategy for CXH across app and web platforms.
• Define and champion UX principles, interaction patterns and accessibility standards.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, Content Design and Design System teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the UX strategy for the CXH team across app and web.
• Own the design vision for shared customer journeys across propositions.
• Shape information architecture, navigation and search for cross‑platform experiences.
• Create and evolve documentation, playbooks, and best practices for high‑quality experiences.
• Collaborate with Design Leads to balance local optimisation with platform-wide consistency.
• Lead design critique sessions and promote a culture of feedback and continuous improvement.
• Work with Product and Engineering to keep customer experience strategic across roadmaps.
