Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking a Design Estimator in Swansea. You will produce precise 2D AutoCAD drawings to accompany quotations and actively respond to customer inquiries received by phone, email, website contact forms and social media.

You will interpret customer requirements, provide knowledgeable advice, prepare accurate quotations and recommend suitable products, aiming to improve conversion rates through proactive follow-ups.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating, technical sales or customer service roles.
• Good verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experience with manufacturing or construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings to accompany customer quotations.
• Handle customer enquiries by phone, email, website forms and social media.
• Understand customer requirements by asking the right questions and providing knowledge-based advice.
• Produce accurate and commercially sound quotations.
• Recommend suitable products and solutions based on customer needs and budget.
• Follow up quotations to build relationships and improve conversion rates.
