Job summary

Sellafield’s 12-month Industrial Placement in Design Engineering is based in Warrington. You’ll join Electrical, Civil, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering teams, gaining hands‑on design experience on real projects with a clear path to graduate opportunities.

Salary is £27,043 with relocation support of £1,200 if needed. Benefits include 30 days leave (plus public holidays), a pension match up to 13.5% and a range of networks and staff programs to support your development.

Qualifications

• Be on track to achieve the minimum degree requirement for your discipline (Mechanical/Civil: 2:1 Masters; Chemical/Electrical: 2:1 Bachelors).
• Willingness to relocate to Warrington or surrounding area for the duration of the programme.
• Genuine interest in building a career within the nuclear industry; develop professional and technical expertise.
• Ability to solve problems, think critically, and learn continuously.
