Job summary

Sellafield in Warrington offers a two-year Design Engineering graduate programme where You will work on real projects in our Design Engineering teams in Warrington, gaining responsibility from day one and developing technical expertise across electrical, mechanical and chemical engineering disciplines.

You’ll start on £44,027 with progression to £45,010 in Year 2, plus options like a £1,400 relocation allowance and a 2,000 interest-free loan.

Qualifications

• Be on track to achieve, or have already achieved, the minimum degree requirement for your discipline.
• Relocation willingness to Warrington or surrounding area for the duration of the programme.
• Genuine interest in building a career within the nuclear industry and developing your professional and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Design Engineering projects in Warrington as part of the Graduate Development Scheme.
• Collaborate with engineers across disciplines on projects supporting environmental restoration and the UK’s sustainable nuclear future.
• Develop technical expertise and professional networks through structured development and on‑the‑job learning.
