Ernest Gordon Recruitment is partnering with a specialist X-ray equipment manufacturer in Milton Keynes to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer. You will design parts and assemblies for bespoke X-ray enclosures using AutoCAD and 3D CAD, and collaborate with the installation team on project delivery.

Based in a growing company, you will contribute to pricing updates, work with Electrical Design Engineers, and enjoy hybrid working with flexible hours.

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to work on cutting-edge, bespoke machinery and technically interesting projects, whilst developing your expertise and progressing your career with a rapidly growing X-Ray equipment manufacturer?

Established in 2003, this specialist company provide industrial X-ray services to local manufacturers including cabinets, equipment and even entire rooms. After continued growth they have recently moved into a new workshop and are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the tight-knit team.

In this role you will be designing parts and assemblies for bespoke x-ray enclosures and manipulators using AutoCAD. You will be creating your designs either in office or from home whilst collaborating with the Electrical Design Engineers supporting the project production and installation team. You will also be responsible for creating and updating billing of materials and designs.

This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to join an X-ray specialist at an exciting period of growth, with significant investment in new projects, a growing team and a brand-new workshop.
